Khanjar, ivory (Elephantidae spp.) (slits) and bone (domestic bovidae) handle, carved in the shape of a harnessed horse's head, inlaid with red and green enamelled glass cabochons, and turquoise plates. Double gutter blade with damask effect, heel decorated with a cartridge inscribed in Arabic "Y'Allah" damascened gold. India, 19th century. L: 40.5 cm Specimen complying with the conditions of the AOS of 4 May 2017 allowing the commercial use of Elephantidae's ancient ivory. For an exit from the EU, a re-export CITES will be necessary, which will be at the expense of the future buyer.
