NECKLACE in platinum (900 thousandths) and yellow gold (750 thousandths) openwork and articulated, paved with small old-cut diamonds, adorned with half pearls of turquoise, tubular coral and onyx forming openwork rings, flat gadroons and caps, holding a "pompom" PENDANT following a larger size, holding turquoise pearls in pendants. Slight accidents or cracks. Signed CARTIER, Paris. Circa 1925. Philanthropist, dance enthusiast and woman of the arts, Baroness Bathsheba de ROTHSCHILD created the Israeli contemporary dance company that bears her first name, the world-famous BATHSHEVA Dance Company, in 1964, with Martha GRAHAM, artistic advisor and choreographer.
