Friendly correspondence in which he talks about his tours, his quartet and his violins, some letters are addressed to Kaul's son who plays the violin: May 1918: "I am going to get acquainted with the violin that you sent me... "1923: he talks about repairing his violin, and about a Dutchman who wants to buy an "L. Capet"; March 1927: he is very happy with his "L. Capet" violin: "It sounds beautifully like that, my admiration remains exactly the same for your magnificent instruments... "he agrees to perfect the "J.S. Bach"; August 1928: he plays to a full house " I still express to you all the joy I have on your magnificent violin... "August 1920: a nice letter of encouragement to his son Kaul who is ill: "Health first of all without it, nothing can be done... even on the violin... you will find your violin with more freshness and pleasure... ». Around 1915, a refugee in Nantes, Lucien Capet met Kaul and his violins, he was won over by the instrument and played it under the label "Guarnerius", he received a triumphal welcome.
