DELACROIX (Eugène) (1798-1863) Autograph manuscript with his numerous signatures in the margins and in the text (s.l.n.d.) 3 p. in-4°. Early manuscript including a Latin version with erasures and corrections; it is followed by reflections on the man whose body is weak, alone he becomes the prey and victim of animals, a cowardly being and easy to defeat, neither teeth nor nails are strong enough to make him fearsome, he has received two things from God which make him very powerful : reason and society...
