On: Royal Hours, containing the Office of the Virgin... Paris, Méquignon, 1741. 2 plates engraved by Gallays. Michon, 51-79 /// (5f.)-72-57 to 506-499 to 672-(6f.). Beautiful mosaic binding from the workshop at La Tulipe. Michon describes a binding with the coat of arms of Louis Dauphin, whose decorative elements, tulips and grenades, are the same here. This workshop, which was active from 1740 to about 1785, is closer to Derome than to Padeloup.
