Cartel of wall lamp and its console, in brass veneer inlaid with mother-of-pearl and coloured pastes with flower decoration. Rich gilt bronze trim with rocailles, cartels and shells. A large pattern of foliage and flowers on the cushion. The dial is signed by Verdier in Paris. The console is stamped by Balthazar Lieutaud. LouisXV period. Height. 127 cm - Width. 0.41 cm Very small shocks and upliftings, modified suspension. Probably Jean Jacques Verdier watchmaker in Paris received master in 1737. First rue des Marais, then rue des mauvais garçons. Juror of the community in 1773. Balthazar Lieutaud, cabinetmaker received master in 1749; specialized in the manufacture of clock cases remarkable for their elegance and quality.
