In-4, blood-red morocco, solid and pearled fillets in frame with corner finials, back with 4 nicely decorated ribs, multiple inner fillets, gilt edges on witnesses, cover and back, case (Blanchetière). Monod, II-11422//174-(4f.). 29 etchings engraved with burin, 28 of which are full page, and 39 chapter headings (19) and culs-de-lampe (20) by Bernard Naudin. Edition of 350 copies, this one one of the 300 headings on Rives vellum (n°286). Very nice copy.
