A double chest of drawers made of veneer inlaid with flowered vases in double filleted frames, opening with three drawers, the first one decorated with a frieze of alternating posts and tulips, the two lower ones without a crosspiece, the legs arched. Ornamentation of chased and gilded bronzes. Top of Aleppo breccia marble. Attributed to Godefroy DESTER, received Master in 1774. Transition of the Louis XV and Louis XVI periods (restorations, repairs to the veneer). Height: 89,5 cm Width: 115 cm - Depth: 52,5 cm Note: If our chest of drawers is not stamped, its model is nevertheless known in the repertoire of this cabinetmaker.
