MENUS & DIPLOMATIC PROGRAMS Set of 34 documents, Sigmaringen, Paris, London, Nice, Rambouillet, dated from July 24, 1945 to October 4, 1958. Approx. 50 pp. in various formats (from in-16 to in-folio). Important set of diplomatic menus, programs (Gala, visits by heads of state (French and foreign), recitals), the hour-by-hour schedule of Queen Elizabeth II's visit to France and an official photograph bearing the Elysée stamp, depicting the end of a hunting party. All these documents were issued to the attention of Mr. or Mrs. Chérif Mécheri. Some documents bear signatures that are difficult to identify. Chérif Mécheri (1902-1990) was the first prefect of Arab-Berber origin. He was Secretary General of the Union Française and Secretary General to the French President (1948-1060).
