The texts are illustrated with 10 original out-of-text prints by Charles Cottet, André Devambez, Abel Faivre, Gaston La Touche, Charles Léandre, Auguste Lepère, Bernard Naudin, Alfred Roll, Steinlen and Jean Veber, 17 engravings in the text after Carrière, Degas, Manet and Rodin, and 11 out-of-text reproductions. The volume also contains 10 culs-de-lampe not mentioned in the table.
