In-8, full margins, burgundy calf embossed with cold grillwork, window on first board revealing a sailboat drawn in Indian ink with, in the lower part, a mosaic decoration depicting a quay with brick wall, crate, barrels and mooring cock, smooth spine with cold fillets and gilt decoration in the upper part evoking the theater, lining and endpapers of handmade paper, gilt head, cover and spine, chemise and slipcase (Modern binding). Lh., 460 /// 246-(1f.). First edition. One of 25 copies on Japon Impérial (n° 20), the only large paper with 50 Hollande. A fine copy in a decorative binding that deserves to be signed. Damage to dust jacket.
