Verdure with wader and birds Royal Aubusson Manufactory Second half of 18th century Woven in wool and silk H. 1.65 x L. 2.04 m The foreground shows a wader and three birds nesting in trees, against a background of a château and a beautiful landscape. The tapestry has retained some of its coloring and the border has been added. It shows wear in the silks, old restorations and patches and reweaving. It has been reduced in height and width.
