An amusing document in the form of an "electrocardiogram result", it states "Does this unscrupulous individual have a heart? [] Yes. The X-ray revealed a name engraved on it, we read 'Janou' []"; L.S. par des Amies [codétenues?], (s.l.n.d. [March 13, 1975). 2 pp. gd in-folio, on blue paper, envelope retained. Beautiful letter in which her friends express their friendship. Attached are 2 photocopies of Jacques Mesrine's replies to M. René Schneider [Jeanne Schneider's father], in which he explains his way of thinking "[] while knowing of his existence for 14 years you have ignored your role as grandfather []. The fact that I'm one of the most dangerous criminals doesn't give you any right to doubt my ability to be a good father. I'm not a pimp or a drug dealer. Bank robber...no doubt about it! Killer.... they say? Extremely dangerous... Ask your friend the Prefect. [] don't try to traumatize your little girl by blaming her for loving me. You've already hurt your daughter; I won't let you destroy her out of vengeance []".
