MESRINE Jacques (1936-1979) nicknamed public enemy number one. Set of 4 copies of typed letters. Prison de la Santé and Fleury-Mérogis, June 16, 1975 to February 9, 1977. 7 pp. and one half-page folio. Some of these letters were sent from prison directly to the persons concerned (stamp marks). The letters are addressed to Jeanne's father, the director of the Fleury-Mérogis prison, the president of the 3rd Indictment Chamber, and Madame Greny, juvenile judge. Some letters bear handwritten corrections. Like Mesrine himself, these letters are very punchy.
