A softwood CABINET decorated on all sides in European varnis - Lot 263
A softwood CABINET decorated on all sides in European varnish in the Far Eastern style with polychrome animated landscapes on an ivory background.
It opens with ten small drawers of different sizes arranged in four rows, embellished with movable brass pull handles fixed on engraved curved plates.
On the edge of one drawer is glued a paper bearing an old, hard-to-read inscription in brown ink.
Foreign work from the first half of the 18th century.

It stands on a gilded wood base engraved with lattice work, opening with a side drawer, a scalloped waistband and curved legs.
Louis XV style, 19th century (small missing gilding).
