The first tapestry depicts a group of young people conversing and greeting each other in a flowery landscape at the foot of a neoclassical monument. To the right of the composition, a young girl points at the scene, which the gardener beside her is observing attentively. This light-hearted tapestry combines gallant and rustic scenes. The presence of weeping willows reinforces the poetic character. Imitation frame border.
The second depicts a young man, cane in hand, accompanied by his dog, courting two young women, wearing a straw hat adorned with roses and a wicker basket. With a wave of his hand, he seems to be inviting them to continue their stroll by his side. The figures are set in a gentle, harmonious natural setting, close to a house lined with weeping willows and colorful flowers. Imitation frame border
This charming pair of tapestries has retained its pastel colors and original borders.
They are in good overall condition, with some wear to the silks.
