Strong lot of eight kalamkari printed canvases, Iran, 20th century Nine cotton canvases of various sizes, printed in polychrome with predominantly plant motifs such as boteh seedlings, a panel of foliage scrolls, cypress trees beneath a mihrab-type niche, a floral latticework or a large rose window with male figures, each surrounded by friezes of flowers, lambrequins or even horsemen for one. Two canvases delimited by bangs and several stamped on the back by the manufacturer. Dimensions from smallest to largest: 90 x 90 cm to 277 x 177 cm Stains, wetness, small tears, a few accidents.
